Cornell Co-Operative Extension

The Cornell Co-operative Extension is composed of numerous branch offices throughout the State under the auspices of Cornell University. Its mandate is to:

  • Provide information to the general public on plant care
  • Host programs that co-ordinate with the Department of Environmental Conservation and its oversight of the use of pesticides
  • Disseminate the latest research information pertaining to residential plants as well as agricultural crops
  • Provide information to the general public on gardening issues
